How it works
No barrels by the back door, no calling around when they're full.
-
We drop containersSized to your kitchen's output. Free for volume and contract accounts.
-
You fill themFryer oil goes in the container, not the drain. Oil down a drain is the clog we get called about later.
-
We pick up on scheduleAutomatic, set to how fast you fill. No phone call needed.
-
The oil becomes fuelIt goes back to our transfer station in Long Island City and leaves as biodiesel feedstock.
Same visit as the trap
Most kitchens that take oil pickup already run a trap cycle with us. One truck, one visit, one manifest for the trap and a clean container swap for the oil.
- Containers and scheduled pickups on the same visit as your trap service.
- 2,500 gallon grease trucks, six days a week.
- No third-party hauler in the chain. The oil goes to our own station.
Grease waste is our business
A&L Recycling is our grease waste division. It runs our transfer station in Long Island City: trap waste and used cooking oil come in, biodiesel feedstock goes out.
Nobody hauls your trap waste out of the city and bills you for the miles. The paperwork ends where the waste ends.

Reviews
“One of few companies willing to do the dirty work no one else wants to do, and consistently excellent. Contact them if you're looking for grease trap cleaning, oil drum removal or even a drain snaked. They're ready to go.”
“Juan and his team (Elvis and Ricardo) did a great job cleaning 3 grease traps. Very professional and always on time.”
“I called for my restaurant and within 3 hours they were there.”
FAQs
What does the pickup cost?
For volume and contract accounts the containers and the scheduled pickups are free. The oil has value as biodiesel feedstock, which is what lets us run the program that way. Ask dispatch where your kitchen lands.
How often do you pick up?
On a schedule set to how fast you fill. We adjust it off the first pickups, then it runs on its own.
What sizes do the containers come in?
Sized to the kitchen, from a coffee counter to a fry-heavy chain line. Dispatch sizes them on the first visit.
Can I combine it with grease trap service?
Yes, and most kitchens do. Same visit, same truck.
Do you pick up from homes?
The program is built for commercial kitchens. Got a one-off amount at home? Seal the container and call dispatch.
